more posters... part 2

There are more posters than on display here. I am currently trying to catalogue and revitalize the lot. Some of them were stored in the basement for almost 30 years and got a bit damaged, but some others survived this with no harm done. So, let's see what else is there...
Some oldie for the starters:

Rzeszow's Vicinity (Land Of Rzeszow)

1962

co-production with photographer H. Grzeda

58 x 84 cm

Teacher's Day

1975

67 x 97 cm

"We manifest unity of the nation and a will to live in peace"
June 22nd (A national holiday)

1978

67 x 97 cm

25th Anniversary of Cracow's Liberation - 1945

1969

56 x 82

This an interesting poster, as it is a reprint of one that was produced in 1964 for 20th anniversary; the only difference is a font style and of course a number. There's only one copy left of the older one.

1917 - 47th Anniversary Of The October's Revolution

1964

58 x 84 cm

One of the more elegant posters related to the Russian revolution topic, as communism symbols - hammer and sickle and a red star - are not prominently displayed, there's only a small star on a rocket. Later on, "the editors" (party people) were insisting on more visible attributes of communism on posters.

"15th Lesser Poland Bicycle Mountain Race 23-27 July 1975"

1975

58 x 84 cm

26th Anniversary of Cracow's Liberation - 18.01.1945

1970

60 x 90 cm

This is a "staple item". Every year there'd always be a poster about "liberation" by Soviet troops, and of course something about Lenin, October revolution anniversary and the imposed by communists national holiday of July 22nd (instead of pre-war November 11th).

A Tribute To The Heroes Who First Opposed  Hitler's Invaders.

1974

67 x 97 cm

Hitler's invasion was in 1939, but the displayed cross was designed by Soviet-backed Polish government in 1944 and was actually not related to the 1939 events exclusively.
More of the similar; this poster was directly relating to 1939's lost war campaign. The message reads:

"We will not allow for the rebirth of fascism, we stand as the guardians of peace".

1969

67 x 97 cm

Poland, The Highest Value - July 22nd

1976

67 x 97 cm
co-production with photographers

There are still more posters to be displayed.
Some of them are pretty rare items today as the printing was limited to 1 - 5 thousands of copies per poster and mostly they were all used up during billboarding campaigns.

Some Printed Posters - part one

1964
"The 1st Festival Of Partisan And Army Songs"

61 x 83 cm

Most of the presented posters exist in a single digit quantities that makes them pretty rare.

During 60s' and 70s' poster design in Poland was limited by scarcity of a good quality paper and the old and used up printing equpiment. Colors to be used were limited to 4, seldom to 6, and like on this poster to only 2. As one can see, sometimes it worked out quite well.

1971
"thanks - I don't drink"

59 x 83 cm

This poster was printed in rather sizeable quantity, so it is by far the most popular and easy to get work of J. Dynda at various art auctions.

1971

"we won't start this way!"
(mess, bureaucracy, paragraphs...)

48 x 67 cm

1966

"Peasant Day"

about 60 x 90 cm

1973

"Posters"
(as a help in a political and propaganda work)

about 60 x 90 cm

1967

"NO!"

Anti-War (Vietnam) Poster

60-90 cm

This poster was issued on a strangely thick, black paper.

1973 (?)

"not me, it's you..."

1971

"can't build this way"

48 x 67 cm
1972

Krakow Area Invites (tourist info poster)

58 x 73

There are more to come...  There are also some lithographs, drawings to be displayed in future.
